Our Care Companions

I'm a PhD student at the Alberta Children's Hospital and always have fun, silly stories to share about things children do at the hospital. I'm a great listener and very comfortable with pets, chores around the house and always up for playing board games over a cup of tea or coffee! I can't wait to hear more about your life and experiences.

I'm an English major at Mount Royal University, and I love connecting with others and having meaningful conversation. My hobbies include crafting, cross-country skiing, cooking, or just taking walks outside. I am excited to share my passions, offer my assistance, and to get to know you!

I am a very optimistic young man pursuing a career in medicine. I love to help others and to give back to my community. I would like to think that I am a very good listener. Spending time engaged in real conversations and connecting with people is one of my hobbies. I believe there is a lot to learn from my elder's life experience; I can’t wait to meet you and assist you in every way I can and learn from you.

Let's set up a meet and greet with one of our care companions today!

I have always enjoyed spending time helping others. Hearing stories of times past over tea, assisting in chores, and helping with technology have always been my forte. I look forward to meeting you!

I am a kind and compassionate person, with experience working with elders in my community. I love cooking, baking, beading native art and sewing

I’m an outgoing guy who loves scuba diving, travelling and outdoor activities. Also, I like playing chess and watching movies. It’s time to do together with delicious Korean food I made if you want.

At GenHelp, families are in control of which care companion they want and can easily schedule appointments over the phone or online.

Our care companions are passionate about making a difference in the lives of older adults. They are ever mindful of your safety, dignity and focus on providing compassionate care.
